There is so much input from media right now, and I feel overwhelmed by all the information flooding my system. Keeping up to date is important, but equally important is making sure that you are can focus on what really matters. 

To make sure I am grounded and calm I check in with my Higher Self several times during the day, to remember that we are all connected through this. I call my family and friends and make sure they are all right, sending them words of encouragement, and I take care of my cats, as I do every other day. Trying to make things feel as normal as possible through all this makes me feel safe.
